Llueve

Tonight is very wet and dreary.  The mood reminds me of the poem Olas Grises by Leopoldo Lugones (it can be found here).

I’d also like to mention a restaurant in Beijing I enjoyed and would go back to: Grandma’s Kitchen.  The one at Wudaokou (neighborhood that is a “cool hangout place” for students) serves really delicious peanut butter milkshakes, apple pie, omelets, and other food that would be hard to get in China.  I love Chinese food, but I do miss western breakfasts.

  1. The poem “Olas grises” is exactly what today is like in Malpica, Galicia! EXACTLY. Isn’t it exciting that the same poem describes our feelings in two such different parts of the world?!

    Keep eating well!

    Muchos carinos,
